eGames Conference in Muscat

The gulf’s annual gaming conference will be held this year at the Crown Plaza in Muscat on the 10th and 11th of December 2006. The event hosted by the Knowledge Oasis Muscat is directed towards Middle East-based companies and professionals involved in producing interactive entertainment software and hardware for video game consoles, handheld devices, personal computers and the Internet. The conference will be preceded by a free whole-day gaming workshop that will cover storyboarding, character design and development, animation, narrative storytelling and visual effects. The workshop will be limited to a 100 attendees that will have to reserve their seats by emailing mulkie@kom.om. You can learn more about the upcoming eGames conference by visiting their blog.

  1. As a game developer i was there last year , and i met a lot of people involved in this industry , and of course i will try to be there this year too

  2. am planning to go there too, i miss it last year … but not this time … i did for the 9th free the pre, what about the 10-11, any idea how it would cost to participate????

  3. I do not know how much is the entry ticket for the conference, you should try emailing them. You can check the programme for the event at this link.

    plus: last year fee was 100 R.O. as i remember

  5. why not, its really going to be great to meet game developers and gamers.

    am pc gamer and developer too. currently am developing a racing game. its been while now and i haven’t done much, its one man work.

    ummm 100 R.O isn’t that much, i think is worth the shot.

SS: I used to design games using Desiging programs such as : The Games Factory, MultiMedia Fusion which i finished some games using it , then i went inside the code with C++,C# and have a lttle experience with Direct X & Open GL , but i didnt finished any game using some game engines because i was busy then , what about you SS ?
    i think its better to go to the Forums ;)
