TechCrunch is reporting that Flash Lite 3 will be embedded in Chumby, a widget powered internet gadget. Chumby is expected to be released within two months and could be the first device to hit the market running Flash Lite 3. The new version of the mobile version of the Flash Player will support the FLV format and will enable playing and streaming video on mobile devices through the player itself - just the same way video is now distributed all over the web. The full specification of Flash Lite 3 and the details about the SDK are not available yet, but it should be out soon if Chumby does come packed with it upon its release.
