Creating Shattered Glass In Photoshop- By The4nSoul

This tutorial aims to give a simple way of adding a shattered glass effect to an image using some very basic tools.

-Choose the Polygonal lasso tool from the tool panel.

-Outline the desired glass shape.

-Select the gradient tool from the tool panel.

-Select the Gray Value Stripes from Special Effect Gradients, and select the desired opacity %.

-Apply the Gradient fill to the selected area.

-Use the lasso tool to give a thickness to the glass from one side.

*If a further transparency is desired , it can be changed from the layers controller fill %.

- make different shapes and sizes of glass in different parts of the image in order to get a shattered glass scene and you are done!
